I wasn't sure a wooden xylophone would survive my toddler, but the keys are solid and the paint hasn't chipped after weeks of daily use. It's surprisingly small at 28cm, which actually makes it easy for little hands to reach every note.
The keys are so smooth and sturdy that I don't worry when my daughter chews on them mid-song. She's already figured out that hitting different colors makes different sounds, and the whole thing survived being thrown across the room without a scratch.
My 14-month-old grabbed the mallet immediately and started tapping away—the xylophone's slim 2.5 cm profile makes it easy for her to hold and carry around. She's already figuring out that different keys make different sounds, and the smooth finish gives me peace of mind while she plays.
