The wooden rings are smooth with no chipped edges, which was my main worry ordering online. My two-year-old sat sorting them by color for almost twenty minutes, longer than any plastic toy has held her attention.
My little one comes back to this stacker every single day, and I love that the wooden pieces are so smooth and sturdy for her grip. Sorting the rings by color before stacking has already helped her recognize numbers way faster than I expected.
My daughter has always struggled to stay focused on anything educational, but the brightly colored wooden rings actually held her attention for a solid twenty minutes. Watching her figure out which peg each number belongs on feels like a real win for her problem-solving skills.
